We unequivocally condemn the murder of Pavlos Fyssas

The “Youth Leadership – The Exelixis Institute” condemns in the most unequivocal way the atrocious act of murder of Pavlos Fyssas.
This act, as well as a series of other similar murderous attacks by Chrisi Avgi, mainly against immigrants, marks a practice of provoking social unrest and imposing a climate of fear and terrorism on both the democratic regime and the active citizens who are concerned and active in addressing the deep political, financial and social crisis of the country.
An antidote to the rage of passions and polarization that has intensified the crisis in which Greece finds itself, is the rationalization and activism in a context of defending the fundamental individual and collective rights of citizens.
Any group that through its activities undermines the equality of citizens, regardless of racial, ethnic origin, sexual orientation or religious affiliation of the latter, has no place in a society that should be surrounded by rules of law and equality for all its citizens.
Our words and our actions should have a single goal: the emergence of a dynamic civil society that through democratic dialogue and the consequent activity in a framework of legitimacy and solidarity, will create the basis for the creation of a society open to diversity and the synthesis of opinions, ideas, people.
