Ovidiu Palcu, born in 1972. He studied English Philology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. In 2005, he completed his postgraduate studies in Political Science and two years later began his doctoral dissertation in Sociology at the University of Athens. In 2015 he obtained his second master's degree from the School of Architectural Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens.

He is the director of the NGO "ContemporaryBalkania" (www.balkaniacontem.ucoz.com) based in Athens, Vice President of the Association of Foreign Journalists of Greece (www.foreignpress.gr) and External Research Associate / Research Assistant of the Hellenic Institute of Security (www.i-sda.eu).

He has collaborated with international organizations and networks related to the Diaspora, immigration and the Greek becoming. He has also worked as a freelance journalist for various publications and has extensive experience in European programs.
