The "New Leaders - Evolution" Institute, on the occasion of the events in Afghanistan, in a statement emphasizes the following:

"Every Afghan citizen has the right to liberty and security of person. Afghanistan is no longer safe for its people. Europe is called upon to create a safe environment for Afghans who have been forced to flee their homeland. European leaders - and, of course, our country - are urgently called upon to take initiatives and find emergency solutions so that the reception and protection of refugees from Afghanistan can begin. In our view it is possible. All that is needed is political will. Avoiding responsibility cannot and must not be a one-way street. Women's rights are non-negotiable human rights. The EU must act quickly and methodically. 

All human rights matter. "Let us not dwell on words and let us proceed in deeds." After all, this was the message sent by the volunteers of the Institute who took part in a protest outside the US Embassy in Athens for the freedom of Afghanistan from the Taliban. Only appreciation and respect for the courage and strength of these people. The Afghan community in Greece and in Europe is fighting. Be proud of your identity and know that we are all by your side ".
