The Institute "New Leaders - Evolution", expresses its deep sorrow for the death of Mikis Theodorakis, a global Greek, who sealed with his work the modern Greek culture and opened the way, after achieving the unthinkable, the works of the great poets to become the property of us all. His works were performed by top singers, while he established himself in the international audience, signing the music of unsurpassed films.

On the occasion of the news of the death of the great Mikis Theodorakis, in a statement the president of the Institute, Mr. Jean Daniel Colombani states the following:

I remembered today the article intervention of the late Mikis Theodorakis, for the refugee year 2016: "the modern Auschwitz of Europe", in which he likened the practices of the Nazis to the detriment of Jews, communists, Roma and other "undesirable" inhabitants of the world with Western practices in dealing with refugee flows and intervening in those countries. As if he wrote it today. Always up to date and ahead of his time, Mikis of all Greeks, Mikis who united the Greeks, suddenly left us leaving a vast void that can not be filled.
